These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VectorGap's AI brand perception monitoring platform. By using VectorGap, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

VectorGap provides tools to monitor how AI language models represent your brand, detect inaccuracies, track competitors, and generate optimized content. We query third-party AI systems on your behalf and analyze the responses.

2. Account Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to use VectorGap
You must provide accurate account information
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account
One person or organization per account (no account sharing)

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use VectorGap for any illegal purpose
Monitor brands you don't have authorization to monitor
Attempt to manipulate AI systems in ways that violate their terms
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
Exceed rate limits or abuse the API
Share access credentials with unauthorized parties
Upload malicious content to the knowledge base

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all brand data, knowledge base content, and other materials you upload to VectorGap. You grant us a license to use this content solely to provide the service (running audits, generating content, etc.).

You're responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload any content and that it doesn't infringe on third-party rights.

5. Subscription and Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance
Prices may change with 30 days notice
Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period
No refunds for partial months or unused features
We may suspend accounts for non-payment after 7 days

6. Plan Limits

Each plan has limits on brands, competitors, audits, and features. If you exceed your limits, we'll notify you and may restrict functionality until you upgrade or reduce usage.

7. Third-Party Services

VectorGap integrates with third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity). These services have their own terms and may change or become unavailable. We're not responsible for third-party service outages or changes.

8. Disclaimers

AI Accuracy: AI perception audits reflect what AI systems said at a point in time. AI responses can change rapidly and may not reflect current reality.
No Guarantees: We don't guarantee that using VectorGap will improve your AI perception or business outcomes.
As-Is: The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VectorGap's liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You can cancel your account at any time from your settings. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or for extended non-payment. Upon termination, your access ends immediately and data is deleted according to our data retention policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. We'll provide 30 days notice for material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Paris, France, unless otherwise required by law.
